What can i say about the man i called dad?
He was a giving man,
He was a man of honor,
He was as fair as he knew how to be,
He loved all of his family dearly,
He taught me many things,
He scolded me when i was outta line,
And he taught me how to be an honorable man
Though he is gone,
And I can no longer see nore talk to him,
He is not truly dead
For his memory lives on inside of me,
And all the lives he touched,
And now he's with the Father
With no pain or suffering
And in my heart I know he's looking upon the earth
And watching me as I live my life
I hope I'm making him proud
Though he may be dead,
And we all miss him,
He still lives on
And I am proud to say
That this man of honor
Was the man i called dad

Shine the Hits- Newsboys-review date:4-14-2001
Ever heard of Newsboys? If you haven't, they are quite a good band. The majority of their CD's are pretty good, some edgy tunes, insightful lyrics, etc. Now, after almost 9 years they release their greatest hits album. From past experience, whenever I see a greatest hits album the first thing I think is "Songs that no one has ever heard of that are labeled greatest hits just to get people to buy the CD". Well, is this any different you ask? I bought it to see.
I was rather surprised. I found it to actually contain songs that I've heard of that I considered the greatest hits. With tunes from their albums like "Breakfast", "Reality", "Take Me to Your Leader", "Entertaining angels" and more, it tuly is their greatest hits. And it contains 4 new song never heard before on CD. That includes a new version of "God Is Not a Secret" featuring Toby Mac from dcTalk, and "Joy" and a really cool remix of all the songs at the end. Overall, worth a buy.

Last thoughts: The only thing that would have made it perfect (in my opinion) would have been the inclusion of "Hallelujah" and the original version of "God Is Not a Secret" . Intermission the Greatest Hits- dcTalk- review date:5-22-01
This is an excellent CD. No question about it. Not only do they have the absolute best of dcTalk (in my opinion) they also have some new songs and remixes. The songs sound tighter than ever. Some of the tracks on this beaut are Supernatural, Say the words (Now), Jesus freak, Sugar Coat it, My Will,I wish we'd all been ready, and plenty of others.
"I wish we'd all been ready" Is a very powerful song about being left behind. You may have heard it on the "Left Behind" sound track, and it definetly makes ya think. And they've included plenty of good songs. Why are you still reading this? Go buy it already! You should be able to find a copy at a local store or at www.amazon.com
Last thoughts: Wow... If you are a dcTalk fan, be sure not to miss this one. It's quite a good CD.
